Manufacturers welcome smart manufacturing and technology platform linking Southeast Asian industrial supply chain

Highlighting growing industry demand for a dedicated smart manufacturing platform in Thailand, Intelligent Asia Thailand has secured participation from global leaders in industrial control, assembly, power electronics, CNC machinery, factory automation and more ahead of its March 2025 dates.
To be held from 6 – 8 March 2025 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), the event will host an expected 300 international and domestic exhibitors across 10,000 sqm of floor space, creating a comprehensive network that connects Southeast Asia’s industrial supply chain. The event is jointly organized by Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, Taiwan Branch, and GMTX Company Limited.
Exhibitors from China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States will showcase cutting-edge innovations, reinforcing the event’s role as a key platform for industrial advancement in the region.
Intelligent Asia Thailand serves as an integrated platform for smart electronic manufacturing technologies, enabling participants to discover solutions and build connections beyond their traditional sectors. The event is particularly relevant to Thailand’s thriving electronics and semiconductor industries, covering a wide range of essential technologies for component production and assembly.
The exhibition will feature two major industry events: PCB Thailand and Automation Thailand. PCB Thailand will focus on the full supply chain of Thailand’s growing PCB industry, while Automation Thailand will bring together regional manufacturers with automation experts and system integrators. Both events will provide a comprehensive network connecting Southeast Asia’s electronic industrial supply chain.
PCB Thailand will provide a focused platform for Thailand’s growing PCB industry, covering the full supply chain from manufacturing and automation to testing and materials. The showcase will feature HDI/IC carrier boards, flexible and rigid PCBs, PCB smart automation equipment, and advanced testing solutions, alongside non-destructive inspection systems, dry and wet process equipment, electroplating wiring technology, and loader/unloader machines. Complemented by PCB software solutions and key supply chain players, the event will connect manufacturers, suppliers, and industry professionals to drive collaboration and innovation in the region.
Narrowing its focus to automation solutions, Automation Thailand brings regional manufacturers together with automation experts and system integrators. Visitors can explore everything needed for building fully digitized factories, from inspection systems and digital platforms to automated handling equipment and smart factory robotics.
To bring the technologies on display to the solution level for professionals in the local industry, PCB Stage, SPS Stage Bangkok, and Tech Stage will run alongside the events, bridging the upstream and midstream segments through their combined product showcase and seminar format.
The PCB Stage will feature a variety of sessions exploring the latest innovations and opportunities within the PCB industry. Topics will include PCB and packaging substrate innovations in Southeast Asia, investment opportunities in Thailand’s industrial estates, and tax, licensing, and regulatory considerations for entering the Thai market. Additionally, discussions will cover smart manufacturing and green factories as dual drivers for the future of the PCB industry. A panel discussion will explore collaboration opportunities and challenges within the global PCB industry.
The SPS Stage Bangkok will showcase automation solutions and expert insights from international leaders like Beckhoff Automation, Bender GmbH, Phoenix Contact (Thailand), and Pilz South East Asia (Thailand). Production engineers and factory managers will learn about modernizing legacy factories, improving resilience, AI in manufacturing/logistics, and IT/OT convergence. Complementing the stage, the SPS Demo Zone will showcase advanced industrial technologies from SICK (Thailand), Wieland Electric Singapore, Belden Asia (Thailand), Balluff, Cognex, Igus, Interroll, and Rittal, providing attendees with a closer look at real-world automation applications.
The Tech Stage will feature diverse sessions where exhibitors will highlight and explain their latest solutions and technologies. Topics will include automation, robotics, energy/sustainability, motion technology, digitalization, control, warehousing, sensors, and IIoT. These sessions will cover key areas such as smart manufacturing and industrial safety, offering attendees the opportunity to discover cutting-edge solutions directly from industry leaders.
